Emily Camastra Has Become a Partner in the Firm
Swerdlow Florence Sanchez Swerdlow & Wimmer, A Law Corporation, is pleased to announce that, effective August 1, 2020, Emily Camastra has become a Partner in the Firm.
Emily joined the Firm in 2012 and has made invaluable contributions to helping our clients, being a great colleague and friend, and contributing to her community. In her eight years at the Firm, Emily has provided practical advice to employers about a wide range of employment issues, most recently focusing on developing COVID-19 response plans, and has defended litigation ranging from single-plaintiff wrongful termination and discrimination claims to significant, bet-the-company, class-action wage-and-hour cases. Emily also has assisted our clients with matters involving traditional labor before the National Labor Relations Board.
Emily, who is fluent in Spanish, graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center and earned her undergraduate degree from UCLA. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and volunteers to raise money for Miry’s List, an organization that supports refugees in Southern California.
We are excited to welcome Emily as the Firm’s most recent Partner and to have her continue our Firm’s four decades of unparalleled commitment to our clients and our community. Congratulations, Emily.
