Meghan focuses her practice on a wide range of labor and employment issues, counseling employers on matters involving employee onboarding, classification, wages, discipline, leaves of absence, and termination.  As part of her practice, Meghan provides California-required anti-harassment training to employees and managers both in-person and remotely.  She has defended companies across multiple industries in single-plaintiff discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits.  An MIT graduate with an affinity for numbers, Meghan has confidently litigated multiple wage-and-hour cases, including both PAGA and class-action matters.

When employers experience a workplace accident, Meghan assists clients throughout the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health’s investigation and defends them in proceedings before the California Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board.

Prior to joining the firm, Meghan gained extensive experience defending cases before the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) where she prevailed at trial on numerous occasions obtaining multiple “take nothings” for her clients.  Meghan continues to represent employers before the WCAB on Labor Code Section 132a and Serious and Willful claims.

Before attending law school, Meghan contributed to a publication in the Journal of Biological Chemistry while completing a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health.  While earning her undergraduate degree, Meghan was a member of the varsity soccer, basketball, and softball teams.

When she is away from her desk, Meghan enjoys spending time with her spouse, young son, and two dogs.  She looks forward to coaching youth soccer and little league teams in the years to come.
